Yep thats right! I thought about leaving them this way, since I thought the roosters were so cute.. okay totally kidding. But I did see some major potential in these bad boys today when I saw them. They were for sale for $10, but they had been marked down to $4 for the whole set. I offered the lady $2 and..... you guessed it! Score!

Here are the canisters and lids all painted up ready for the EXCITING part!
I measured how far I wanted the paper to go up on the canisters, cut the scrapbook paper, mod podged on, and added a coat of mod podge over the top! What do you think? I am in LOVE :)

ReplyDeleteSo, how much modge podge does it take to cover something like these canisters? And did you cover the entire jar with modge podge or just the paper part?
ReplyDeleteI just covered the paper part and used a wet rag to wipe off the excess that got on the jar. It didn't take that much mod podge at all. So fun!
