Idaho Visit

Great Grandma Nye
(First of all, sorry if some of the pictures are HUGE and others are small. I'm working out a glitch and hopefully they will be fixed soon! And also sorry for some of the blurred pictures and red eyes in some of them. I took my small camera to Idaho that doesn't work as well)
Nixon and I took a trip to Idaho a couple of weeks ago! My mom was telling me that she HAD to see Nixon before Christmas :) so she flew us out, and I am so grateful because I feel like Nixon is growing up so fast! We were in Idaho for almost a week, but it seemed like a very quick visit and I'm sorry we didn't get to see everyone we wanted!
It was a little nerve racking flying alone with Nixon, but he really did great, especially on the way there. On the way back, I asked to see if there were any empty seats on the flight, hoping I could get two for Nixon and I. The lady said, "This is a very full flight, but you must be living right because the only empty seat on this plane is the one next to you." I was very relieved. After we got on and sat down, I was trying to give Nixon a bottle while people were still boarding the flight. He was not having it. He was screaming, arching his back, and I couldn't settle him down. You know how that goes, lots of fun. So I decided I would try to nurse him since I had the seat empty next to me. So I got out my cover and was COMPLETELY covered and this lady walks by and looks at me like, "I can't believe she is doing THAT in public." K. So that totally got me worked up into a full body sweat, and Nixon decided he wasn't in the mood to do that either, even though I KNEW he was hungry. So I tried the bottle again, and finally he took it. I took the now sweaty nursing cover off, and I was just a little frazzled. Let me remind you that this is all while people are boarding, stopped in the aisle and staring at us. Then a cute lady starts walking towards me and looking at me like she is going to sit next to me. She loudly says, "Guess what? I am the BEST person to sit next to you. I have 4 girls at home." We laughed and I was SO relieved! Come to find out she lives in Omaha, she is a member of the church, and is looking for a piano teacher for her girls! It was so fun to get to know her and I'm excited to have made another friend out here!
