3 Months!

Our Nixon is 3 Months old! Chase and I did this little photo shoot of him right around his 3 month birthday. We couldn't get a smile out of him, but we still think they turned out pretty dang cute!

This makes me want to cry. Here is a comparison of Nixon in his carseat when he was 2 days old.....
AND THREE MONTHS OLD!!! I seriously can't believe how much he has grown! And how much hair he has lost :)
Happy boy!
I had to get a picture of the rolls starting to grow on his thighs, since most of you can't kiss and pinch them!
Tummy time... I can't believe how he can hold his head up! His neck and back have gotten so strong, it seems like over night! It's hilarious when I go to feed him in the night and he is perched like this crying, with his head almost peering over the crib.

3 Month Highlights:
14 ish pounds (we weighed him at Walmart while grocery shopping. We laid some plastic down, and then put him on the produce scale. He wouldn't really fit in it so we had to hold on to him a little bit, so I don't think it was completely accurate. He weighs at least 14 lbs, maybe 14 lbs. 3 oz?)
23.5 inches long
He is eating more these days. About every 2 1/2-3 hours during the day and he is eating 4 to 4.5 oz. every time.
Getting very good at tummy time and holding his head up
Smiles almost every time I even look at him
Started giggling! I can take my chin and tickle him under his neck and on his sides and he goes crazy giggling.
Still likes to be swaddled, especially during naps.
Seriously balding. He has no hair on the sides of his head and a big chunk is missing in the back. He has a patch on top, and a patch at the top of his neck and the funny thing is, it is pretty dang thick and long so the bald parts look REALLY bald. He looks like a cute old man :)
His sleeping habits, I'm not real proud of :) We put him to bed at 8:30, eats at 1:30, eats at 4:30, and then ready to eat again at 7:00. Most days we get up then, but I usually bring him into bed and feed him there by me. There have been a few mornings where we will both fall back asleep. It is such a sweet time to be able to snuggle with him in the mornings. The picture below is of when that happened once, and I CAREFULLY inched my way away from him so I could get out of bed without waking him up and snap the picture.
