6 Months

We can't believe we have a 6 month old! Has it really been half a year? These last six months have been pretty challenging, but the most rewarding thing I have ever done. We feel so lucky to have all that we do, that we can give our baby a warm bed, food, and a home. I can't imagine how awful it would be to not be able to provide those basic needs to your baby.

He is really THRIVING :) He is at SUCH a fun stage, sitting up all by himself, laughing and smiling all the time, and loving to be played with. It is so fun that he responds to almost everything we do. I find myself constantly talking to him throughout the day and I love having him right beside me.

We started feeding him brown rice cereal about a month ago and since then, has started eating carrot puree and smashed up avocado.. and he is loving it! I can't seem to shovel it in fast enough and gives lots of "mmm..mmmm"'s when he is eating. He is also sleeping a lot better since we started him on solids.

I don't have his height and weight yet, we go to the doctor in a week or so..

He has also started scooting around a bit. I think this little guy is going to be mobile very soon!

I took some pictures of him a couple of days ago..so enjoy! These keep bringing a smile to my face when I look at them. I hope they bring one to yours too!
