I love taking something old and making it new! I took one of Chase's old, but very soft, t-shirts and made it into this outfit. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about these before, especially on boys, but I think the "John Deere" logo makes it boyish enough :) I think it turned out so stinking cute! I found a tutorial on how to make it and just printed out the pattern pieces and sewed them together and added some elastic along the bottom.Binky clips! I am in love with these and they are so fun to make! Using left over fabric pieces I already had, I made three binky clips, although I think I will be making a few more since boys don't really have very many accessories. Can I use that word for boys? Accessories? haha

Crib Sheets!!!! Okay.. These are seriously my favorite project lately.. I have known for a while that I didn't want to spend a bunch of $ on crib bedding since I think the quilt is basically pointless, the bumper can only be used for the first few months, and the options out there really aren't that cute..I found a tutorial on how to make crib sheets and I thought it would be SO fun to make about three of them in different fabrics that I can switch out. Since all of the sheets at the stores are pretty plain, I love that you can find a cute fabric and make a sheet out of whatever you want! I still haven't tried them on the actual crib mattress, since we don't have one yet :)
Here is a pile of the fabrics I picked out, including the sheets, that I'm thinking of for the baby's room. I have two canvases I got at Thai Pan a while back for $2 each, and I wanted to cover them in fabric. I was thinking of putting an applique owl on each one. How cute would that be? And use the different fabrics for the different parts of the owl? What do you think?
Then I got thinking. Would it be cuter to do grey and yellow with the green, white and blue? I can't decide. Here is a pile of the colors below, just to give you an idea.Which do you like better?
