Do you like this? Because I think I'm in love! :) The below picture was taken before we put some TLC into them. I found these beauties at a yard sale this summer for $7 total...NO JOKE! With a broken drawer, missing hardware, and some big cracks, they definitely needed some major work, but I could see the potential.
I can't get over their adorable, curvy feet!

I'm pretty proud of myself for fixing the broken drawer with some wood glue and clamps. Grandma Whitt would be proud! And after I filled the uneven spaces with wood putty and sanded over it, it looked brand new.

I took off the old hardware and filled the holes with putty and sanded over them. This is the stage they sat at for about 3 months, since I started this project right before I found out I was pregnant. I wasn't able to do the painting since we used spray paint, so I had to wait until Chase could come finish my project for me. Towards the end of Christmas break, we finally found some time to get these babies finished (when I say we, I mean Chase :)

Here are the drawers with the first coat of primer.

And here is a close up after spray painted with a gorgeous yellow, and glazed. I love how the grooves picked the glaze right up! We got some glass, I mean plastic :), knobs from walmart and Chase drilled holes for them and put the hardware on.
It was so fun to do a project with my hubby and it is so cute how much pride he has taken in these end tables :) I think he now has a better understanding of why I get so excited when I finish a project! He was bragging to all of his IDEP friends about "the end tables" that he finished over the break. We had a few of his classmates from the IDEP over for dinner one night, and that was one of the first things he showed them :)
I LOVE how they turned out! And I bet the people I bought them from at the yard sale would want them back if they saw them now :)
