We had the opportunity to go to Idaho for 2 whole weeks over Chase's break! It was so fun to see family and friends, and let everyone love on our Nix! As you can see from the picture above, he was sort of the main attraction :)
Grandma and Grandpa Funk picked us up from the airport, and Nixon was sure happy to see his grandma!
We did some clay pigeon shooting and Chase really reminded me of what an awesome Idaho boy he is :) He shot 6 out of 6!

I even tried out a few shots, burp rag and all.

Nixon had his first swim at Miracle Hot Springs, while at the Nye's...actually his first swim ever! He looked pretty dang cute in his swimsuit! (we took off his swim shirt after a while because everyone wanted to see his fat, soft belly :)
Trey and Hollister are such great Uncles! They helped out so much while we were there and were very good at keeping Nixon entertained.
Grandma Ellie and Nixon sure had a fun time together!
Chase spent lots of time playing Monopoly with Trey...some very long games :)

It was so fun to get these three together! Boston and Nixon are 12 days apart and I'm afraid Max will be the ringleader one day :) These cousins will definitely make some fun memories.

Boston and Nixon were continuously trying to pull each other's binkys out of each other's mouths. It was so funny
We took a day trip to Pocatello to see some friends! We finally got to meet baby Deacon and hang out with Alan and Emily. It was so fun to catch up! Nixon was enthralled by Deacon and I'm sure they will be best buds!

Great, great Grandpa Uhrich. He was so cute with Nixon. He kept saying, "You can stay here with me, you and I will have a GREAT time."

ReplyDeleteI know I'm not going to be the only one to say this, but the picture of the hands took my breath away. That is priceless. I love it!!! I'm so glad you took the time to see us. My kids were so sad when you left- Peri even ran to her room and cried and said she wanted to hold baby Nixon. She now thinks every baby should be named Nixon. We just loved him. What a good mom and Chase a good dad. Love you guys
