Our baby is TWO!

Happy birthday to our sweet baby boy Nixon! We started off the day with some stuffed french toast with strawberries and I even let him blow out the candles. He thought it was pretty funny when I started singing to him. Our day was pretty laid back; we played outside, went to Costco, talked to family and grandparents on the phone. It was nice...
We had a little birthday party for Nixon the following day with a few of his little buddies. We did a robot theme and had a pretty fun time! (the above picture is of Jade and Nixon)

They each got to make their own robot on a popsicle stick to take home with them...
Chase made these delicious cake pops! Aren't they pretty? Good job honey :)
We made crepes with different toppings to choose from and a breakfast casserole. Nixon blew out his candles on the crepe since they wouldn't quite work on the cake pops :)
We did a version of a "cake walk" for a game. We played music and they each stood on squares of paper. We started some music and they walked around in a circle. When the music ended, whoever was on the square with the robot got to choose a robot to take home...
Here are the robots!
Nixon's favorite big buddy Body finally winning!

After the game was over Nixon wanted to keep on dancing!

Opening gifts...Thanks so much for coming everyone and making Nixon's second birthday special!!
And thank you Nixon for coming into our lives two years ago and making us parents. You have taught us so much and we are so grateful Heavenly Father sent us you. We love you!
