We took a trip to Kansas City with our friends, the Broadbents, between Spring and Summer semesters. Tyler goes to school with Chase so they both had a couple of days off. We stayed at a really fun place called the Great Wolf Lodge. It has an indoor water park and it was a blast! Our friends have a daughter Macie, who is Nixon's age, and they were so cute going down the slides. Nixon got to the point where he would climb up the stairs and go down by himself! We were even allowed to put life jackets on the kids and take them down the big slides. It was such a great place for kids.
We visited Liberty jail while we were there as well... and went to a delicious bbq place that was AMAZING!
Here is Nixon not even 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. We definitely wore him out after two days of swimming!
