Chase's school holds a "halloween parade" each year where the kids get to take their candy buckets around to the faculty and staff and go trick or treating inside the building. This is the first year we were a part of it and it was so fun. We took dad to lunch afterwards!

On Halloween we carved and painted pumpkins as a family. Nixon thought it was pretty fun!
And then we took him around the neighborhood to go trick or treating for about a half an hour. He was so cute saying, "Kick or treat!" and always "thank you" afterwards. At one house the guy told him to just reach his hand in and take as much as he wanted. He took one piece and said, "Enough." We sure enjoyed our funny, adorable fireman this year!
